Cahawba's Burial Ground
This was a burial ground said to have been for the slaves of Cahawba land owners, but many used this cemetery well after the end of the civil war.
It may contain hundreds of graves, but only a few have been noted. Until more funding and volunteerism is found for Old Cahawba's preservation, It's sad to say that many of the buildings and sites here will continue to be destroyed.
