Liberty Cemetery Hartselle, AL

This little cemetery was not a recently neglected cemetery. The transcribers of Cemeteries of Morgan county AL did their field documentation in Sept. of 1982 and the damage was already done for the most point at that time. While I don't doubt that as I transcribe what I have photographed for you, that I will find many others are missing, it is good to know that access to this cemetery, as well as a basic routine mowing and grounds keeping has been done by the owner of the current property or the entity to whom it belongs. I will transcribe all stones eventually on this website, but it's important for me to get the photos themselves out there. Raising awareness and desire to maintain the forgotten souls.
